To be eligible to enter & win the contest, the entrant must make a booking with RIT valued at CAD$1000 or more between Oct 28-Nov 15, 2019.Entrants of the contest must be Travel Agents.
Entering the contest – you will automatically be entered into the contest when you make a booking during the eligible period with a minimum value of $1000, provided you are a travel agent.
The chances of winning the contest will be based on the number of bookings made during the period. For each booking over $1000, you will have one entry into the draw to win the grand prize or one of the five runner up prizes. A random draw will be made at the Royal Irish Tours office on November 16, 2019 to decide the winners of the contest.
The contest winner will be contacted by email on November 16, 2019. By making an eligible booking for the contest, the winner gives Royal Irish Tours permission to contact them for the purpose of awarding the prize, and not for any other reason.
The winner will have 7 days to respond to accept the prize. If the winner has not responded in 7 days (by end of day on Nov 23, 2019), the winner forfeits the prize, and Royal Irish Tours will give the prize to another entrant of the contest. The same process to pick the winner will be adhered to, and it will be a random draw.
Ineligible participants – all non-registered Travel agents, and all people who do not make an eligible booking.
The prizes have been provided by Royal Irish Tours, Canada’s leading tour operator selling Ireland.
The flights in conjunction with the 1st prize (FAM trip) are economy class with Air Canada from any Canadian gateway to Dublin (DUB) and include one checked bag and all taxes and fees. Any costs for seat selection, upgrades etc. must be covered by the prize winner. Flights are subject to availability at time of booking. Peak times of travel and holidays may not always be available; all seats are subject to availability and capacity controls. The tickets are non-transferable and has no cash redemption value. Tickets are valid only for Economy Class round-trip travel on Air Canada. Not valid for bookings on partner airlines or codeshare flights. Excess baggage fees and any additional products or services will be charged the current applicable fees. Once ticketed, any changes made will be charged the current applicable fees.
Not included in the prizes are the prize winner’s transfer to/from the airport in their home town, dinners, lunches and any transport fees not listed in the prizes. Other costs such as car rental, train fares, additional nights’ accommodation, travel insurance etc. will be the responsibility of the prize winner, and Royal Irish Tours will not be covering the costs of these, unless otherwise stated.
The approximate retail value of the 1st prize is CAD$3000, and the runner up prize value is about $50. The prizes are non-transferrable and have no cash value. No purchase necessary.
The grand prize must be redeemed by joining the fam trip from Jan 19-25, 2019, and cannot be extended.
The prizes do not include travel insurance.
Prizes must be redeemed through Royal Irish Tours.
Royal Irish Tours strongly recommends that you purchase Travel Insurance. Unexpected emergencies or illness can cause you to cancel or interrupt your vacation resulting in financial loss.
Royal Irish Tours does not assume responsibility for any claims, losses, damages, cost or expenses arising out of personal injury or death, loss of employment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration, whether physical or mental resulting from any of the following:
Any negligent act or omission by the airline or other suppliers or their personnel or any company or person not under our direct control.
Government actions, weather equipment failure, labour disputes, sickness, theft or any other cause beyond our direct control.
Failure of the passenger to obtain the necessary documentation to travel.
Failure of the passenger to arrive at the airport on time the day of departure, or missed connections.
The need for us to change itineraries or substitute accommodation or services provided that every effort is made to supply the most comparable service and accommodations available.
Cancellations of a flight or other travel arrangements by Royal Irish Tours, provided that full refund on all monies paid is made to the passenger.
*Some agency consortia cannot receive the Cineplex vouchers, and will receive $25 bonus commission if they are a winner instead unless an alternative arrangement has been made with RIT.
