We recently came back from our Honeymoon in Ireland. which was booked through Royal Irish Tours, and we couldn't be happier. We decided on the self-drive Castle & Manor tour. It was absolutely incredible. We loved that each County was so completely different from the next - each spectacular in their own uniqu...e ways. People keep asking what our favorite was, and we truly cannot pick one. The Wicklow Gap, The Ring of Kerry, The Cliffs of Moher - all breathtaking. The pubs were fun and had great food. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting to experience what Ireland has to offer.

One might think it excessive but I travelled on holiday to Ireland 3 times in a 9 month period. Each time with Royal Irish. I took the Royal Shamrock tour in May and fell in love with the lambs playing on the green mountains sides. Each day the scenery was unforgettable and the experience different from the last. J...oe O'Connor our driver and guide was charismatic and a true professional. He made our trip educational, entertaining, stress free and an absolutely wonderful experience. His positive energy and quick wit endeared him to all of us. Joe is Ireland's gift to Canadian tourists. He drives the bus as though it was a Smart car. We all were in awe of his driving skills. I loved learning the origins of expressions which Joe explained while he accepted our teasing over his charming accent. Joe encouraged us all to return to Ireland and bring our friends, so I did. We had had the most fun and laughs on our tour so why not do it again? I returned to Ireland in the fall. Once again I took the Royal Shamrock tour. The scenery was still spectacular but very different from the Spring's visit. We met some wonderful travel buddies on our bus, and I think it is valuable to mention that there were people traveling on their own. The singles were quickly absorbed into the collective as we ventured out to explore the cities and bars during our free time. My third trip to Ireland was not intended, until I started to compare overseas flight costs. The Dublin Delight package (5 days) from Royal Irish gave us a very competitive rate plus the opportunity to stay on and see more of Dublin and tour south eastern Ireland. We had no trouble arranging the flights we wanted to take from Dublin to Europe and were able to take advantage of the cheaper fares available in the U.K. It was a good decision as our flight was delayed leaving Toronto for 4 hours because of the snow. Having the time in Dublin took away the stress of meeting a connecting flight and we were well rested before we started out on our next adventure in Europe.

After returning from Ireland I had time to reflect on my amazing experience of my time spent in Ireland. I wanted to Thank Mr. Patrick Foley our tour guide on the Escape to the West Tour, for the wonderful experience. I was apprehensive about a bus tour in general prior to leaving, but I must say, I plan to return to I...reland, and sign up for another tour. I loved the smaller group size, and enjoyed getting to know my fellow travellers. I appreciated Patrick’s knowledge of the history surrounding the areas we visited, his songs, and laughter. Patrick was very friendly, and had great stories to tell us. He seemed to enjoy the company of his passengers. I liked the beautiful scenery of Ireland, and felt saddened when the journey came to a finish. I have many joyous memories to take home with me. I enjoyed the site of Clonmacnoise near the Shannon River, and spending the night in a quaint B&B in Galway. Going through Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head was like going through a vivid dream through the country side, with magnificent views, from narrow roads up the mountains to the vast greenery and the atlantic coastline. I adored running up the hillside to look over Conor Pass. Then going through the Ring of Kerry, and the beautiful Killarney National Park, through Kilkenny and then back to Dublin. For a 5-day tour I got to see a lot. Thank you for to wonderful time, and Thanks again to Patrick! May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. Cheers,

We have participated in several comprehensive coach tours in the past, but none could begin to compare with the high standards established by Royal Irish Tours. Our tour bus was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and highly efficient; our accommodations were absolutely first rate; our meals were v...aried and delicious; the itinerary included everything on our wish list and more. All of these aspects of our tour were carefully coordinated and managed by Martin Lettice, driver-guide extraordinaire. We learned so much from his knowledge of Ireland; we benefitted from the variety of experiences he provided; and, we thoroughly enjoyed his ever-present sense of humour. This gentleman is a real asset to your company. We can honestly say that we enjoyed every aspect of the tour and we can assure you that we will recommend Royal Irish Tours to family, friends and acquaintances. Sincerely

HI! I just returned from the Irish Twist Pub Tour on Oct 1, 2015. Everything was first rate. Our driver, Colm, was very knowledgeable and gave us all kinds of interesting historical facts and bits of information as we drove along. He took great care of us. The hotels were lovely and the meals ex...ceeded my expectations- really terrific food. Fortunately we had a great group of fellow travellers who all got along with each other & not a drop of rain. So the trip really was perfect. I want to thank Royal Irish Tours for a wonderful time. I will highly recommend your company to anyone wanting to tour Ireland or Britain.

Our tour of Ireland was magical - grand !!! We loved the hotels ,and the food and drinks were outstanding !! Our bus driver and guide "Joe" was quite a character as were all of the guides we had the pleasure of meeting on the trip. We had terrific weather each day and that only made the 40 shades of green that much mor...e beautiful. Loved the colourful sheep and all the lazy cows. My favourite spots were the Glens of Antrim and the Giant's Causeway, the Cliffs of Moher and of course the Dingle especially Slea Head. I now know why my brother has gone back 9 times. With my Irish background - being an O'Brien from County Clare, it felt like going home ..... Thank you for all your help with our wonderful trip. We all have terrific memories, pictures and souvenirs to cherish. The Irish are a very welcoming people and their humour and wittiness are contagious !!! Two of the ladies golfed in Killarney at the site of the Irish open and they loved it !! All in all, it was a trip of a lifetime for me !! I will go back one day, hopefully soon !! Have a great trip yourself this fall. Thanks again,

Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful Irish tour my sister-in-law and I had with your company. We did the 12 day tour of Castle and Manors June 26th to July 6 . Your staff in Ireland are wonderful and very helpful. My sister-in-law has mobility problems and uses a wheelchair. Our tour guide Martin made sure that s...he enjoyed every day and could participate in all the tour events in some form or another. It is people like Martin that ensure you feel like you are at home when traveling abroad and I cannot tell you how he has won us over to use your tour agency for our next trip to Europe. Since coming back home to Barrie, Ontario I have not stopped talking about how your tour agency is the only one to go with. Again, thank you and we will be seeing you all soon again. Regards

Just a wee note to let you know that we had a wonderful time on our trip to Ireland. We returned home last Saturday afternoon. We both truly loved Ireland – the scenery, the people, the food, the sheep!! Our tour guide, Joe Nix, was the best guide we have ever had. His knowledge of everything Irish was unbelievable. ...It didn’t seem to matter what topic or what question was asked, he had an interesting answer or explanation. He also sang for us, told us jokes and stories and recited poetry (all while driving). What an amazing guy!! It was no surprise when I came home and looked through the Royal Irish tour brochure to find Joe’s picture and comments about him. Thanks again for all your help in booking this trip for us.
