As the day comes to a close, return to the mainland and journey to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, for a two-night stay. Enjoy a full-day circular tour of Loch Ness, starting on the north side with a visit to Urquhart Castle, offering stunning views and a glimpse into 1,000 years of Highland history. Stop in Drumnadrochit for a traditional Sunday Roast before continuing to Fort Augustus and the scenic “secret side” of the loch.
