We continue to Fort Augustus for a wee stop before travelling along the ‘secret’ side of Loch Ness on its winding single-track road. Here you’ll have the chance to walk down to Foyers Falls, a spectacular waterfall that inspired poets like Robert Burns. Spend the evening at leisure, perhaps with a riverside stroll.
Our day begins at Culloden, the powerfully emotive and atmospheric battlefield where the 1745 Jacobite Rising met its tragic end.
