Welcome to Scotland! Meet your tour guide at your designated pickup point before enjoying a panoramic tour of Glasgow, taking in its red sandstone Victorian architecture, green parks, and the River Clyde. Highlights include a visit to the stunning Glasgow Cathedral, a rare survivor of the Reformation, and time to explore the impressive collections at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Afterwards, we check into our hotel for the first two nights of the trip.
We begin the day in Rabbie Burns Country with a visit to the Burns National Heritage Park, where you can explore the poet’s birthplace, walk across the iconic Brig o’Doon, and discover his life and legacy at the museum. The journey continues to Ayrshire’s stunning Culzean Castle, dramatically set above the sea and surrounded by woodlands, gardens, and sweeping coastal views.
Departing Glasgow for Inverness, we travel through some of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes along the West Coast and Loch Ness. Highlights of the day include the tranquil beauty of Loch Lomond, the dramatic vistas of Glencoe, a visit to the historic ruins of Urquhart Castle, and a scenic cruise on Loch Ness—keeping an eye out for the legendary Nessie.
We journey along a scenic stretch of the North Coast 500, beginning with a visit to the fairytale-like Dunrobin Castle, perched above the sea with its grand architecture and beautiful gardens. From there, we stop in the charming town of Dornoch, known for its historic cathedral and coastal charm. The day concludes with a tour and tasting at a Highland distillery, where we explore the art of whisky-making and sample a few drams of Scotland’s finest.
Today, we set off on our journey to Perthshire, starting with a visit to the historic Culloden Moor, where the 1746 battle left a lasting mark on Scottish history. Then it’s off to Kincraig for a fun and impressive sheepdog demonstration, before we continue on to the lively city of Dundee.
We depart Perthshire for Edinburgh, traveling through the scenic Kingdom of Fife with a stop in St. Andrews—home to Scotland’s oldest university and the birthplace of golf.
