From luxurious hotels and first-class rail journeys to carefully curated experiences, this is Britain at its most refined.
Welcome to England! Upon arrival, meet your Tour Manager and transfer into London. Our first stop is Tate Britain, home to the finest collection of British art in the world. Enjoy a light lunch before exploring works from the Pre-Raphaelites to David Hockney, alongside the world’s largest collection of paintings by J.M.W. Turner. Later, we check into our luxury 4 star hotel near Victoria Station for a three-night stay.
Today we travel to the Royal Borough of Windsor to visit magnificent Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and an official residence of the British Royal Family for over 900 years. Relax as we sail along the Thames past Windsor Racecourse, Eton College, and beautiful riverside scenery.
Today is yours to discover London at your own pace. Perhaps visit iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, or Covent Garden, enjoy world-class shopping, or take in one of the city’s renowned museums or theatres.
This morning we bid farewell to London and board the LNER First Class service north to York. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour through this beautifully preserved medieval city, including a visit to the magnificent York Minster, Northern Europe’s largest Gothic cathedral. Marvel at its stunning stained glass, soaring architecture, and centuries of history before settling into our elegant 5-star hotel. Tonight, dinner is served in the hotel’s award-winning AA Rosette restaurant.
Today we venture into the Yorkshire countryside for a private pre-opening tour of the spectacular Castle Howard, one of Britain’s grandest stately homes and a masterpiece of Baroque architecture. Still home to the Howard family after more than 300 years, the estate offers magnificent interiors, sweeping gardens, and fascinating stories of aristocratic life. Later, we enjoy lunch in a traditional pub nestled within the beautiful North York Moors.
Enjoy a full day at leisure in York. Wander the narrow medieval streets of The Shambles, walk the ancient city walls, browse charming boutiques and cafés, or perhaps visit one of York’s many museums and historic attractions.
Sit back and relax as we board the LNER First Class service north to Edinburgh, enjoying scenic coastal views along the way.
