Leaving the Cotswolds behind, journey into South Wales to the UNESCO-listed Blaenavon Industrial Landscape. Visit the remarkable Big Pit National Coal Museum where the story of Wales’ proud mining communities comes vividly to life. Continue to the delightful market town of Abergavenny, beautifully set beneath the Black Mountains. This evening enjoy dinner before experiencing the unforgettable sound of a traditional Welsh Male Voice Choir.
Crossing briefly back into England, visit the world-famous book town of Hay-on-Wye where Jules introduces its charming streets and celebrated bookshops. Today’s journey explores the landscapes that shaped the Industrial Revolution. Travel through Ironbridge Gorge with Jules, learning how this remarkable region transformed Britain forever. Visit the world-famous Iron Bridge before stepping back in time at Blists Hill Victorian Town, where costumed characters, historic workshops and traditional shops recreate everyday Victorian life.
Begin the day with a visit to magnificent Stokesay Court, an elegant Victorian country house still cherished by the family who have called it home for generations. Today Jules shares one of his favourite corners of Wales as you explore the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. Visit the magnificent Plas Newydd Estate, marvel at the colourful landscape of Parys Mountain and discover the remarkable Neolithic burial chamber of Bryn Celli Ddu. Enjoy a traditional pub lunch before returning to Llandudno, where the evening is yours to explore at leisure.

Leaving North Wales, cross back into England to explore the historic city of Chester with Jules.
