Dublin to Belfast

Depart 7:35

Check-in is 20 minutes prior to Train Departure Time.  Customer Service Desk at Connolly Station where our Check-In representative will be in their yellow jacket!
Check in for 07:35 departure from Connolly Train Station.

Arrive into Belfast Central Station for 09:45 where we will be met by our tour coach to continue on our journey along the Causeway Coastal Route, along Northern Ireland’s Antrim Coast. Upon arrival, guests can see one of Belfast’s most well-known landmark, the two Harland & Wolfe Cranes which are nicknamed Samson and Goliath.

Leaving Belfast we proceed to the town of Carrickfergus for a short photo-stop and take the coast road north from here. Further north we arrive at the fishing village of Carnlough, where we stop for about 15 minutes. We continue on passing the coastal villages of Glenariff, Cushendall and Cushendun. There are stunning views of the sea to the right and the mountains or the Glens of Antrim to the left; you can even glimpse the Scottish coast on a clear day.

Winter Schedule:
From November - March, we join the tour at Ballycastle, approximately 10 minutes from the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge.

Our next stop is the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Traditionally fishermen erected the bridge to Carrick-a-Rede Island over a 23m-deep and 20m-wide chasm to check their salmon nets. Today visitors are drawn here simply to take the rope bridge challenge!

Lunch stop is at Fullerton's Bar/Restaurant in Ballintoy – lunch is not included as part of the tour cost.
After lunch, we make our way to the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where we stop for approximately 2 hours - plenty of time to explore! Leaving the Giant’s Causeway, we head back to Belfast city.

Time dependent, we make a short stop at Bushmill's Whiskey Distillery, where we have a quick 20 minute photo stop. The distillery shop is located here if anyone wishes to purchase some souvenirs.

Our final stop is at Dunluce Castle, where we have some time for a short photo stop before heading back to Belfast City, and on to Dublin.

Arriving at Dublin Connolly Station at 22:15hrs. (Arrives at 20:15hrs Nov - Feb)
